All the riding tours in the beaches of Plakias, the olive and orange grooves, or the surrounding mountains are amazing and very picturesque. The scenery with it's beautiful flora and fauna is very enjoyable to take at an easy pace, but also suitable for active riding.

Our guests can select one or more of the following riding tours:

This ride takes us over Damnoni beach on a path past the cliffs to Amoudi Beach. From there we follow the road for a while where we have a nice view of the mountains and a little river.

Then we go into the mountains in a western direction from where we can see the tops of the magnificent Lefka Ori mountains. On our right we see the Lefkogia valley.

This ride is very panoramic and gives a good idea of the variety of the landscape.

On this ride we're heading west through some olive groves and over several hills.

Eventually we will reach Plakias beach which is about 1 km. long.

We ride up to Plakias village. When the conditions on the beach are optimal we can canter on the way back

This ride takes us into the mountains arround Plakias following the meandering "Avlaka".

"Avlaka" is a waterchannel which provides the fields of the area with water from the springs of the "Kourtaliotis" River in the mountains.

Because of the water the close surroundings are always green even when it's summer and everything has been without rain for months.

We cross one road after which we follow a path around the mountain with an old ruins. From here we have a spectacular view of Plakias and the sea.

Again we follow the "Avlaka", but this time in the other direction.

"Avlaka" is a waterchannel which provides the fields of the area with water from the springs of the "Kourtaliotis" River in the mountains.

We go over hills and through valleys rich with Crete's flora and fauna. Here the scenery is very bucolic.

We'll find sheep grazing, agriculture, and fields with many wildflowers.
