Explore the east countryside all the way to the point where the Old Bridge crosses Kourtaliotis River.
Description
Heading east from the Horse Riding Center towards Preveli Old Monastery, riders will enjoy a slow or active ride among paths with luxuriant vegetation. Herds of sheep, meadows with wild flowers, small rivers and olive groves compose the typical Cretan countryside. Final destination is the Bridge of Preveli, built by the monks back in 1850, crossing Kourtaliotis River, right beneath the ruins of the Old Monastery.
