Description
Starting from the Horse Riding Center, the riders head northwest towards the village of “Myrthios”. Following the old water channel through paths and rural roads, they will experience the authentic Cretan countryside. Myrthios is a picturesque village, situated right above the gulf of Plakias, offering the most spectacular view from the east to the west ridge, including of course the entire gulf of Plakias & the Libyan Sea. Arriving in Myrthios, they will stop at the traditional springs where they will drink from the crystal waters and rest. A full hour break gives the opportunity to explore the village, visit the local shops or try the Cretan delicacies in one of the traditional taverns. The return to the Equestrian Center offers equally magnificent views of the area.
